12 + 2 years = Diploma
                                12 + 3 years = Bachelor Degree
                                12 + 3 years + 1 year = Graduate diploma
                                12 + 3 years + 2 years = Master Degree

After 11th standard or after 10th + 3 years Diploma student can opt for 1 year Foundation leading to Bachelor degree.

Intakes : February is the main intake, July intake is also possible and few universities colleges also offer November intake.

            Master Degree 6.5 to 7.0 Bands

If the child is above 5 years of age than one need to show child study expense of 8,000 $ per annum, for each child.

All the persons need to be covered under Australian Overseas student health cover ( OSHC ) and as per the rules need to pay for health cover before getting visa.

Suppose Mr. A, who is married and having two kids of which one is above 5 years of age wants to study Master Degree (non research) in Australia, which is costing him 18000 $ p.a. what amount he needs to show? ( 1 INR = Rs. 35 )

So, Mr. A needs to show Rs.35 lacs to the visa officer.

Sponsor :
Liquid assets of the person who is sponsoring the student should have at least 22 % of Income as per tax return, than only it will be considered.

Example : If Mr. A is sponsoring with FD of Rs. 10 lac in SBI, than thay FD will be accepted by Australian High Commision only if Mr. A is showing 22 % of 10 lac as income in his tax returns. So Mr. A has to show atleast (10 lac * 22 %) 2.2 lac as income.

Work :
With study person can do part time work (20 Hour's per week)
During vacation person can do full time work
and earn at least 12 to 15 $ per hour

Recover :
On bases of 12 to 15 $ per hour person can recover 40 to 50% of fees and 100% of food and living expenses.
So actual expense for one year will be the fees that are remaining i.e. 50 to 60% of fees
Ex. If one year fees 10000 $ * 60% = 6,000 $
( In rupees 6000 $ * 35 = 2,10,000 Rs. )

After completion of 2 years of studies from Australia student can apply for Permanent Residency (PR) or SIR, if the student is qualifying for the same under the point based system.
